- Lithium Ion Battery Back Up System: Powers a minimum of one cycle from a fully reclined position to a fully lifted position, including closing the headrest and lumbar features on the 5-Zone model. The two-piece design provides a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery and transformer, which slide and lock together. This combination directly replaces the transformer currently used on the PR515. Once connected, the battery pack charges and maintains the charge until a time of need arises (i.e., power outage). The transformer has an indicator light to show the level of charge (red indicates charging; green indicates fully charged). Once power is disconnected, the battery is guaranteed to hold a standby charge for 48 hours without use.
